Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Beyond The Gallery (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Service is owned and operated by Techopolis LLC ("Techopolis," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Beyond The Gallery is a community-driven platform where users can discover, share, and download Apple Shortcuts. The Service allows registered users to submit shortcuts for review and publication, browse shortcuts submitted by others, and download shortcuts via iCloud links.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used in an unauthorized or harmful manner.

5. User-Submitted Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the shortcuts and content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Techopolis LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and make your content available through the Service for as long as it remains published.

5.2 Content Standards

You agree that any content you submit will not:

  • Contain malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm devices or collect data without consent
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Include illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect or harvest information from other users without their consent
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

5.3 Prohibited Shortcuts

Beyond The Gallery is committed to operating within Apple's ecosystem guidelines. The following types of shortcuts are strictly prohibited and will be rejected or removed:

  • Jailbreaking or rooting — Shortcuts that assist with, enable, or promote jailbreaking, bypassing device security, or removing software restrictions on any Apple device
  • Paywall or subscription bypass — Shortcuts designed to circumvent paywalls, bypass app subscription requirements, unlock premium features without payment, or remove ads from apps or websites
  • Piracy and unauthorized distribution— Shortcuts that download, distribute, or facilitate access to pirated content including apps, music, movies, books, or any other copyrighted material without authorization
  • DRM circumvention — Shortcuts that remove, bypass, or defeat digital rights management (DRM) protections on any content
  • Account or authentication bypass — Shortcuts that exploit, brute-force, or circumvent login systems, two-factor authentication, or access controls on any service
  • Data harvesting and surveillance — Shortcuts that secretly collect personal data, track location, record audio or video, or monitor device activity without the user's explicit knowledge and consent
  • Spam and abuse tools — Shortcuts designed to send unsolicited messages, generate fake reviews, manipulate social media platforms, or automate abusive behavior
  • Exploitation of Apple services — Shortcuts that abuse or exploit iCloud, Apple Pay, the App Store, or any other Apple service in a manner inconsistent with their intended use or Apple's terms of service

This list is not exhaustive. We reserve the right to reject or remove any shortcut that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates the spirit of these guidelines or Apple's platform policies.

5.4 Review and Moderation

All submitted shortcuts are subject to review and approval before publication. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any content at our sole discretion and without notice. We are not obligated to publish any submission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or the servers and networks that host it
  • Upload or transmit any content that contains viruses or malicious code
  • Use the Service to spam, phish, or engage in any deceptive practices

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, layout, graphics, and branding, is the property of Techopolis LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

"Beyond The Gallery" and "Techopolis" are trademarks of Techopolis LLC.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service integrates with third-party services including Apple iCloud (for shortcut downloads) and Firebase (for authentication). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services.

Shortcuts downloaded from the Service are executed on your device through Apple's Shortcuts app. You are responsible for reviewing the actions of any shortcut before running it.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that shortcuts submitted by community members will function as described, be free of errors, or be safe to run. You download and run shortcuts at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Techopolis LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages caused by shortcuts downloaded from the Service, loss of data, or unauthorized access to your account.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (if any) during the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Techopolis LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 10, 11, and 14) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Texas.
