This shortcut allows you to use Siri to send a check-in message since it is not natively possible. This way you can set up a check-in even if you forget before you start driving. Check in with a contact to let them know when you arrive safely at your destination. This is an essential safety feature, especially when traveling alone. Send a “check-in” message. Opens a new text message with the check-in feature enabled. Then you can add a recipient. If you do not arrive at your destination by a given time, this feature shares information about your route and last known location.
